IEC TENSILE TEST MACHINE
The IEC Tensile Test Machine is a simple but effective system for measuring the tensile strength of metals. Wire is used so that the forces involved are small and can easily be applied in the classroom. The machine provides three different anchor points for the wires so the wires can be tested at three different lengths.

An accurate dial indicator with a resolution of 0.01mm measures the stretch or extension.

Sets of normal slotted weights (not included) are required to apply tensile forces to the various wires.

• 25g reel 0.37mm diameter (28swg) copper wire
• 25g reel 0.32mm diameter (30swg) brass wire
• 25g reel 0.28mm diameter (32swg) iron wire
